Most people spend the first hour of their day figuring out what to do. These five prompts change that. Copy them, adapt them to your work, and use them every morning.
1. Plan your day in 2 minutes
Paste this into your AI tool each morning:
"Here are my tasks for today: [list]. Help me prioritise them by impact and urgency, and suggest one thing I should do first."
2. Draft any email in 30 seconds
"Write a professional email to [name/role] about [topic]. Tone: clear and direct. Keep it under 100 words."
3. Summarise anything long
"Summarise this in 5 bullet points, focused on what I need to act on: [paste text]"
4. Prepare for a meeting
"I have a meeting about [topic] with [who]. Give me 3 smart questions to ask and 2 things to watch out for."
5. Clear your thinking
"I'm trying to decide between [option A] and [option B]. Ask me 5 questions that will help me think it through."
Save these somewhere you can reach them quickly. The goal is not to think about how to use AI — just to use it.
